TNA Leader congratulates Karunanidhi

Opposition Leader Mr. R. Sampanthan  sent a congratulatory message to DMK Patriarch  M. Karunanidhi on his victory in the recent election for the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly.

In his congratulatory message, Mr. Sampanthan said: “The fact that you are elected for the 13th time to Legislative Assembly is not an ordinary achievement. It is something which needs to be appreciated by everyone. Even though you are not able to get the required seats to capture power, you have got the status as strong opposition party in Tamil Nadu. On behalf of Sri Lankan Tamils, I sent my greetings to you.

We seek your constructive participation needs to continue for getting a fair and permanent resolution for Tamil peoples problems in Sri Lanka.”
