Pro-Tamil activist hurls footwear at ex-NSA
A pro-Tamil activist hurled slipper at Former National Security Adviser MK Narayanan during a seminar in Chennai on Wednesday evening, said reports.
Narayanan, who was the former governor of West Bengal, was attending a talk about the rehabilitation of Sri Lankan refugees in the country.
The Tamil Nadu police have reportedly taken a man named Prabhakaran into custody. The 35-year-old, who is suspected to be a pro-LTTE activist, was taken to Royapettah police station for interrogation. (IBN Times)
