Suspected LTTE operative arrested in Ramanathapuram
Tamil Nadu police on Monday night arrested a suspected LTTE operative who is believed to have served as one of secretaries of slain Tiger leader V. Prabakaran, in Ramanathapuram during a vehicle check along with two local residents. The special branch police arrested four persons, including Krishna Kumar (39) an LTTE drop-out, along with Rajendran and Saikumar who were travelling from Madurai to Ramanathapuram and seized 24 empty capsules, cyanide powder, seven cell phones and four GPS at Uchapuli on Monday.
Krishnakumar of Valvettiurai near Kilinochchi escaped from the Lanka some years ago and came to Tiruchy, Rajendran and Sasikumar of Nagatchi and another one person of Uchapuli, who accompanied him from Madurai.
