Election would pave the way for a permanent solution to theproblems of the Tamil people

EPRLF’s General Secretary and a contestant from the TNA  former Parliamentarian Sivasakthi Ananthan  speaking to journalists after filing nomination for the Vanni district on 10 July said “We see this election as an important one which will solve the problems and find a permanent solution for 60 years old problems of the Tamil people.”

He said further  “The wars which lasted for more than 30 years in the North and East left only political arrests, issue of disappeared people and lack of infrastructure in facilities with our people. We are going to use this parliamentary election as the one which will solve political issues faced by Tamils. Hence we expect that Vanni district Tamil people will provide their  support to us to solve the two important problems”
