NPC will support Memorial in Mullivaikkal

Chief Minister C.V. Vigneswaran said the Northern Provincial Council will offer its full cooperation for erecting of a memorial at Mullivaikkal, in memory of people killed there in 2009 replying to a question raised by NPC Member T. Ravikaran at the 25^th sitting of the NPC .

The Chief Minister said that, there isn’t an adequate funds  for this and that a an organisation may be formed  and necessary funds collected. The leader of the house C.V.K. Sivagnanam, informed the house that, permission had to sought from the Minister of Local Government to erect a memorial.
