US embassy political affairs officer visits Batticaloa

   Political affairs officer Teresa Tellechea,   and Political Analyst R.E. Sandheep Croose,  of  the US embassy  met civil committee members at Batticaloa yesterday.

The US embassy officials met civilians in  Ottamawadi at the American College and discussed about the problems faced by people, their needs, social  activities and religious issues.

The discussion lasted for over one hour. Batticaloa district civilian committee group president V.Kamaladhas, vice president A.L.Junaidh, general secretary Issatheen and several representatives took part in this discussion.
