Army has established a committee to inquire into allegations by Channel-4.
A committee has been appointed to inquire into allegations against Sri Lankan army by the video telecast over “Channel 4” of Britain as per the recommendation made by LLRC. Addressing a media conference held in Colombo yesterday Army Spokesman Brig. Ruwan Wanigasuriya said that terrorism will not be tolerated in Sri Lanka under any circumstances or under any form of manifestations. .
He said that no romm will be given to celebrate terrorist organizations or their members. The army spokesman also said that no influence will be wielded on traditional customs of the people of the North. (SLBC)
