India doesn’t leave Tamils in the lurch, it will responds soon for its neutrality: V.Mahalingam

India 2   Indian Consul General in Jaffna maintained it could not be construed as India has veered off from the  Sri Lankan Tamils as a result of India’s neutrality at the United Nations Human Rights Commission session, stated  Consul General V.Mahalingam at a farewell function organized by Jaffna Religious Assembly held at the Jaffna Cultural Centre. on Saturday (29  and that India will enunciate  its stance of neutrality.

He said that only by maintaining neutrality, can India help the people, and that is why India took a stand of neutrality and that India will very soon express it. He said he is proud of Jaffna for the experience and knowledge which Jaffna provided him.

Mr. V. Mahalingam, was also felicitated by the Commander Security Force – Jaffna Major General Udaya Perera during a farewell function organized at Palaly on Wednesday (19).
