war heroes      Sri Lanka is considering to offer defense training opportunities to mid-level officers from foreign countries at its Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC) at Sapugaskanda.

The Defence Services Command and Staff College, inaugurated in 2007, provides training facilities to Middle Level Officers of the three Armed Forces and the Police in basic command and staff techniques.

A proposal has been made to offer training opportunities to defense personnel of similar status in countries such as India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Maldives, Nepal, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Rwanda, Senegal and Sudan for at the College

The cabinet at its regular meeting today has approved the proposal made by the President, in his capacity as the Defense Minister. (Colombo Page)
