A Sri Lankan, Apullanalada Ukku, 116 years, is said to be the oldest person in the world, after Japanese national, Jiroemon Kimura (116 years), died on 12 June.Ms Ukku, living at No. 82 A, Bulathgamuwa, Mawanella, in the Kegalle District, is now the longest living person in the world.
