Tamil parties merging, for the liberation of Tamil people, was the desire of Tamil Eelam Liberation movement Leader Sri Sabarathinam said Vanni district parliament member TELO Leader Selvam Adaikalanathan, at TELO Leader Sri Sabarathinam’s 27th commemorative celebration at Kondavail Annangai Road on 6th. The event was held under the patronage of TELO Jaffna Urban Council member Vinthan Kanagarathinam.
Parliament member Selvam Adaikalanathan participating at the occasion said, we cannot achieve our liberation unless we forget misunderstandings prevailing amongst us and merge to gain liberation.
He said redemption to our people consist of a life with freedom, through unity we could win back the many issues lost. By the Tamil National Alliance, we could establish our solidarity and struggle for the rights of Tamil people, failing it we would face devastating consequences.
The event was held at the locality where Sabarathinam was assassinated. Party members and supporters paid tribute by to his portrait, placing garlands and flowers.
